My Journey to Golf Club Membership

When I was a junior I was an absolutely fanatical golfer and managed to get to single figures playing for the national development squad and my county team in Ireland.

But when I was about 17 I lost interest in the game for one reason or another
Partying’‘ as many do and since then my nomadic lifestyle has never really encouraged me to join a golf club again.

Until now….

I’m now 31 and well…I’m settling down.

So if you were to profile me as a customer you could call me settling down John 🙂

In the next 6 months, I’ll be moving to the Dublin area for at least a 5 year period and now I have this burning desire to join a golf club again…

The thing is, I don’t know why I have this feeling now and I desperately want to find out what it is that is driving this feeling and decision.

So, I’m going on a journey, to golf club membership.

Over the next 6 months, I’m going to document this journey and share it with you.

I’m already 6 months out from moving and this week I’ve already started looking at 5 potential clubs in the area where I’ll be living so keep an eye out for the upcoming post on this first weeks journey to golf club membership!
