How to sell out for Christmas…Every Year

Deck the halls with piles of money, the summer season ends but the bills don’t….

We’ve all been there. The focus shifts to the winter season ahead and how you can make the most of it.

The winter by no mean has to be a season to just scrape by and with the right plan in place you can sell out for Christmas parties in September!

Here are the FUNDAMENTALS to selling out for Christmas at your course EVERY YEAR:

1. Don’t leave it to the last minute! Plan ahead

Easier said than done with the big list of task we always seem to have ahead of us but this is a MUST. To effectively deliver a Christmas promotional campaign you should start planning this as early in the year as possible. Write and schedule emails & prepare any design materials you need in time for the Christmas promotion.

2. Don’t copy what everyone else is doing. Be Creative

There is a world of knowledge out there for creative and fun themes for your Christmas events. Here’s a couple of events you could put on the calendar for the Christmas season.

Kids Great Christmas Bake Off: A brilliant day with cookie cutters and fun not to mention all the prospective members you have walking in the door with their kids!

Local Supplier Christmas Fair: Setup stalls in the clubhouse with local suppliers and their range of gifts. Excellent way to get the local community involved and drive some traffic in through the door.

 3. Lead with content. NOT a sales pitch

Everyone is going to be ramping up the advertising over the Christmas period so it’s time to stand out from the crowd. Lead this year with content. Write a few posts offering tips and tricks to your potential customers. Remember, you’re going to be fighting for that click so offering something of value to them will be favourable over a direct sell. Once on your website you can links to your offers on the page.

4. Run a Competition

Give something away! Here’s an idea for you. Run a competition to ”Win a Christmas” party for 5 or 10 people. Advertise this on Facebook and you will gather ALOT OF LEADS. The leads can then be marketed to after the draw in they are unsuccessful in winning.
